Salvation is
the free gift of God through Jesus Christ, conditioned only upon repentance
toward God and faith in and commitment to Christ the Lord.
The Church is
a fellowship of baptized believers, voluntarily banded together for worship,
nurture and service. Membership in a church is a privilege extended only to
the regenerated who voluntarily accept baptism and commit themselves to faithful
discipleship in the body of Christ.
Missions is the
extension of the gospel to all the world through evangelism, discipleship,
education and Christian service.
Stewardship
requires the responsible use of life, time, talents, treasures and testimony
in the service of Christ.
Evangelism is
the proclamation of the Gospel of Christ, the call to accept and follow Him
as Lord, and is the life blood of the church.
Baptism and the Lords
Supper are the only ordinances of the Church and are symbolic of redemption.
The Priesthood of
the Believer affirms that each Christian has direct access to God through
Christ, is his own priest, and is also under obligation to become a priest
for Christ in behalf of other persons.
The pastor has
the same standing before God as any other member, but is Gods representative
and spiritual authority as overseer to the assembly. He is responsible to
God for his conduct, not to the deacons, or any committee or fraction of the
church.
The Second Coming
refers to the personal return of Christ to this earth, at which time the dead
in Christ shall be resurrected, and we, which are alive (in Christ) and remain,
shall be caught up together, to meet the Lord in the air.
Every man is
created in the image of God and is a free moral agent. Because of mans
decision to sin, he is lost and in need of salvation that comes only by the
way of the Cross of Christ.
