Conservative Theological Seminary was established in accordance with our Lord's Great Commission out of the combined vision of two Ministry Training/Bible Teaching Institutions: Gulf Shore Baptist Seminary, founded in 1982 and Conservative Bible Institute, founded in 1989. In August of 1992, GSBS and CBI merged to form Conservative Theological Seminary covering a ministry period of over 10 years. Chartered by the State of Florida and governed by a Board of Regents, CTS operates under the exclusionary authority of Florida's State Board of Independent Colleges & Universities.
The Mission of Conservative Theological Seminary is to make Academically sound, Fundamentally Biblical education and Realistically Practical training in the truth of God's Word accessible worldwide. This Vision includes both the areas of thorough Bible knowledge as well as ministry skill development through On-Campus & External Training Programs. Our Purpose is that students may by the Grace of God become more effective in their walk and ministry for the Glory of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
